Calcium citrate 600mg + Vit D3 Tablets 90s

A natural (citrate) form of calcium necessary for proper bone formation, prevention of leg cramps, a reduction in risk of colon cancer, and many other functions. Citrate form of calcium is chelated and thought to be "easier" on the GI system, although this varies from person to person. Overall absorption and efficacy is similar regardless of salt form of calcium.

The new 2010 recommended daily allowance (RDA) is 600 IU for those 1-70 years of age and pregnant or breastfeeding women, and 800 IU for those over 71 years of age, however a number of studies have used levels of 1000IU/day or higher with positive results depending on the endpoint of the study.
